ENR (Engineering News-Record) has named MKD Electric on the Top 600 Specialty Contractors list for 2019, ranking #351. This marks the fourth time MKD has appeared on this list, ranking the previous three years as well. Specialty firms of various disciplines, including electrical, mechanical, excavating, roofing, painting, etc., are featured in the special report in the October 17 issue of ENR, available online or via subscription.

For over 30 years, the Top 600 Specialty Contractors list has showcased the largest specialty contractors in the U.S., but it also measures the markets for specialty trade and subcontracting and identifies the issues and trends that will affect the markets and how subcontractors do business.

“The strength of the current market can be seen in the results of this year’s ENR Top 600 Specialty Contractors list. As a group, the Top 600 generated revenue of $135.20 billion in 2018, up 9.0% over $124.04 billion in 2017 and a 20.1% hike from $112.72 billion the year before. Revenue for the Top 600 now has risen 103.9% —more than doubling—since the market recovery began in 2011.” says Gary Tulacz, Senior Editor at ENR.
