MKD Announces Record-Low EMR

MKD Electric is proud to announce our 2020-21 Experience Modification Rate (EMR) is 0.66, 34% lower than the industry average of 1.0. EMR is a number used by insurance companies to gauge both past cost of injuries and future chances of risk. Oftentimes, it is used to determine whether contractors are qualified to bid on jobs.

This companywide record-low EMR rating for MKD Electric demonstrates our commitment to working safely at all times. We have an effective behavioral-based safety program that focuses on eliminating hazards and preventing injuries.
