MKD Designates January as Fleet Safety Month

At MKD Electric, we are constantly looking for ways to increase safety in all facets of our work. This includes something that most of us take for granted on a daily basis; driving. Whether it be getting to and from the jobsite, or operating a company vehicle as part of our job, we spend a lot of time in our cars, which puts us at greater risk for incidents. In order to promote greater safety behind the wheel, we’ve designated January as Fleet Safety Month. Throughout the remainder of the month, we’ll focus on different areas of fleet and driving safety, including distracted driving, driver behaviors, laws and procedures, etc. Our weekly company-wide safety calls will address thought-provoking vehicle-safety-related questions. Our goal is for everyone to place more emphasis on fleet safety in January, with the intention of reducing potential risks throughout the rest of the year.
