MKD Electric Participates in 2019 OSHA Safety Stand Down

Safety is paramount at MKD Electric, and we take the health and safety of our team members seriously. MKD Electric is pleased to participate in the 2019 OSHA Safety Stand Down to Prevent Falls in Construction, May 6-10, 2019. According to OSHA, “Fatalities caused by falls from elevation continue to be a leading cause of death for construction employees, accounting for 366 of the 971 construction fatalities recorded in 2017 (BLS data). Those deaths were preventable. The National Safety Stand-Down raises fall hazard awareness across the country in an effort to stop fall fatalities and injuries.” All week long, MKD Electric will focus on fall prevention, including during our weekly safety call and targeted toolbox talks.
