MKD Electric is pleased to announce that they have been awarded the Diamond Level STEP (Safety Training Evaluation Process) for 2017. This is the highest level available to STEP participants. Previously, MKD has been awarded the Platinum Level (2015-2016, 2005-2012) and Gold (2014).

In order to qualify for the Diamond Level, our safety data had to meet rigorous requirements, including our Total Recordable Incident Rate falling at least 50% below our NAICS code average, an EMR of 0.7 (MKD’s is 0.68), as well as achieving a high score on 20 key components of our safety program.
